RadiDiazo Technical Specifications
All RadiDiazo coatings are created by electrochemical grafting of the corresponding aryl diazonium salt. We provide all electrochemical data associated with each specific sample. The electrochemical grafting scheme is: (1) one cyclic voltammogram at 0.1 V/s recording the reduction potential of the aryl diazonium salt, (2) chronoamperometry for 5 min at a potential ~0.2 V below the reduction potential of the aryl diazonium salt to completely graft the surface, and (3) one cyclic voltammogram at 0.1 V/s as quality control to confirm the formation of an insulating RadiDiazo coating. Afterwards, the samples are thoroughly cleaned by sonication.
